Removing Dec 25 as a Holiday will save the Federal government a lot of money. A lot of employees are not Christians, and this is a Christian Holiday, thus celebrating Dec 25 makes them uncomfortable. Nowadays we can't even say Merry Christmas without people being offended. I suggest they remove Dec 25 as a Holiday and just leave it as an observed Holiday; those of us that celebrate it can use our Annual Leave like we do for Good Friday. Why should the government pay for employees to stay home if they don't believe in this Jesus. Save the money!!!.
