The Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Security Agency are incredible wastes of taxpayer money. They contribute nothing positive to our security, our safety, or our society. They fulfill no meaningful role in an open, democratic society, and serve not only to waste taxpayer dollars but to make ordinary travel difficult and to address issues which cannot be solved by the use of force.
The DHS and TSA should be abolished, and their funding be diverted to anything else other than the roles they currently play.
