The Dewey decimal system has been in place since 1876 and has been taught in schools since 1952. The system of classification is complex and unnecessary due to the developments in computer catalogs. I propose a new form of literary categorization that is simplistic and easy to use, categorizing books by subject and alphabetical order will improve efficiency in students and generate buisness in libraries in that finding books using numbers or decimals is a leading reason libraries are almost dead. in this age we are used to immediate satisfaction and not working for what we want, so instead of having to remember a call number and the decimal classification for that type of book for example you simply enter the historical biography section and look for the "M" section and find Martin Luther.
