Eliminate discrimination based on high IQ within America's police force, overturning the Jordan vs. New London ruling.

Created by K.K. on September 16, 2015

With the current controversy surrounding our police, it's reasonable to say that we need to have the best police officers available. Yet the Jordan vs New London ruling has enforced the upper cap on police test scores, to prevent undue turnover of applicants. Furthermore, this discrimination of intelligence is based on insubstantial, disproved data. As taxpayers, we realize that our police officers are not only community leaders; in the age of streaming video and world-wide access, its evident that our police officers are just as much ambassadors as our military service members. As such, we should hold them to the same standard. Just as we don't have an upper cap on ASVAB scores for service in the military, we shouldn't have an upper cap on test scores for service in the police.
