Eliminate the discriminatory tax burdens placed on those in domestic partnerships, civil unions, and gay marriages.

Created by A.S. on October 26, 2011

Those with health care through their employers are allowed to pay health care premiums from their paycheck before tax liabilities are taken out. Those entering into a gay marriage, civil union, or domestic partnership do not get to keep the same tax relief. Signing this petition is not just for the LGBT community as a heterosexual couple can enter into civil unions such as comman law marriages. End this discriminatory tax that is targeted to those who are of the GLBT community and those who are a committed couple that do not want to get married (most companies do a rigorous domestic partnership application which is more difficult to get than a marriage certificate indicating a reason for not wanting to get married).
