The drug addiction rate in America has remained at an average of 40% despite the creation of the DEA, and frequent increases in funding to the DEA. It is also known that the DEA is working with the Sinaloa Drug cartel, who is responsible for 80% of all illegally smuggled drugs in America. Paying an anti-drug force billions of dollars to, not only have no effect on the national drug addiction rate, but to also allow the most notorious drug cartel in Mexico to walk their drugs across the border is illogical, irresponsible, and a waste of money that could be used to rebuild the country's economy.
It is also well known that the Drug Czar's job description is to lie to keep drugs illegal and prevent the substance from becoming legal by any means necessary. This is childish and immature.
