This response hypocritically explains that the US government refuses to regulate marijuana as a legal substance due to addiction, disease, and impairment - sighting scientific research.
The studies surrounding alcohol & tobacco all have proven excessive risks of addiction, disease, and impairment associated with these two drugs, risks far outweighing those of marijuana, but they choose to protect the legality of the drugs.
We the people petition that our government end this hypocrisy
