Eliminate economic sanctions against Cuba

Created by D.G. on January 31, 2014

In recognition of the fact that the UN General Assembly has, since 1992, passed a resolution every year criticizing the ongoing impact of the U.S. embargo and claiming it to be in violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international law, and that human rights groups including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights have also been critical of the U.S. embargo. We therefore petition the President to take positive actions towards eliminating U.S. economic sanctions on Cuba.
