We seek the elimination of the Electoral College, due to the fact that it inflates the importance of certain votes (such as those in swing states) during presidential elections, while diminishing the importance of votes in smaller states with a smaller number of electoral votes. Each vote should be equal, and the citizens of the United States should be able to elect their leaders based on the popular vote of all citizens.
