Eliminate the Electoral College so that all future elections will be determined by the popular vote only. In the past there have been candidates who have won the popular vote, but lost the election due to the Electoral College voting the other candidate in.
If the point of having an election is to get people to vote and have their voices heard, along with making each vote count, the popular vote should be what determines who wins and loses.
Eliminating the Electoral College would also do away with "swing states" whose choices clearly carry more leverage during the election than most other states do.
