It's time to finally eliminate the Electoral College and begin electing our president directly. Members of the House of Representatives are elected at the district level and senators are elected at the state level. With no procedure for national ballot initiatives, and the Electoral College as the method for choosing a president, there is no way for the American people to influence their government directly, with every single voice and every single vote having exactly the same weight as any other. It's time to change that. It's time to start electing the president by popular vote.
