Eliminate the Electoral College and go by the popular vote during presidential elections.

The Electoral College is impractical. During this modern era we should have the ability to be directly involved, this nation is "for the people, by the people" No one person should have the ability to make decisions on the behalf of an entire state. I've seen that many people believe that if our votes don't weigh in as equally as someone from the electoral college, voting is assumed as pointless. Our nation has the technology to eliminate the electoral college, unlike during the times of Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson. So why not? I believe the Administration should eliminate the electoral college because it is useless and the money used there can go to local voting programs and be used more sensibly.
