The Electoral College is an old, outdated and unfair way of voting. In the Electoral College, there are risks of "faithless electors" who can vote against the votes of the public. The Electoral college protects minorities of their rights but lessens the rights of the other citizens of America. It also denies a persons right to vote directly for who they want to vote for, instead their vote goes to someone who will either vote with the majority or against it.
This system is old and outdated, we need to get rid of it and bring in a way of voting that will directly represent the votes of the people.
