Eliminate the electoral college and return the voting power to the legal citizens of the United States of America.

This has been an issue for quite a while and with the volatility of the current election cycle is more important than ever. The electoral college is a joke and a tool for power-hungry politicians. The clear and inexcusable shredding of the Democratic process and shirking of the concept of the power of the people must be eliminated. Trump/Sanders supporter or not, the fact that a majority vote is not honored in what is supposed to be a model of democracy makes our beautiful country look foolish in the eyes of the world. We the people of America demand that all federal, state and local elections be returned to the general population and out of the hands of the elite.
