We the people want a constitutional amendment to dissolve the Electoral College and have a direct election of the President of the United States based upon a rational voting system.
The Electoral College system disenfranchises voters whose votes are minorities in their geographical area. Simply put, this system does not follow the will of the people.
Second, our current voting system uses the “First-past-the-post” system. This antiquated form of voting has a host of known flaws including gerrymandering and discouraging minority party participation. A modern, rational voting system such as a Preferential System has the ability to count every vote leading to a true majority selection.
It is time for every American's vote for President to count.
