Eliminate the Electoral College. Every vote should have value. Presidential Elections should not be decided by One State

In States where there is a dominance of one party, those in the minority are discouraged from voting since they are led to believe that their vote will have no effect on the outcome in the General Election. Since in each State a majority vote decides the award of electoral votes in a winner takes all fashion, the result is a marginalization of some votes and of individual voters. For instance, in the State of California which is primarily Democrat, Republicans know that their vote does not affect the outcome, even if there was a plurality of the popular vote, so they are marginalized and discouraged from wasting their time by voting in the General election. If every vote truly counted toward the popular vote and therefor the potential outcome of an election, more people would vote
