The Electoral College system is outdated and unnecessary. This system takes the decision away from the American people and has proven to misrepresent the popular vote in previous elections. The president of the United States should be elected based solely on the popular vote of legal US citizens. Proof of citizenship should be required to cast a vote in any US election. The issuance of proper photo ID should not be withheld or delayed by state or local authorities for anyone that is properly verified as a citizen. We want our voice and our choice back.
