Eliminate the electoral college, thereby allowing EVERY citizen's vote to count equally.

We demand that the popular vote of the people be the final word in electing our President, BEGINNING WITH THE 2016 ELECTION.The electoral college is outdated and unnecessary, created at a time when average citizens did not have immediate access to information about issues and events. Now, college degrees are quickly becoming the norm and almost everyone has access to TV, radio and social media. The 24 hour news cycle brings us up to the minute information and registered voters in the United States are educated, informed and involved. With modern voting and tallying methods there's no reason why each and every vote should not count equally. The electoral college is archaic and unjust.
