Eliminate the ethnicity question from all applications and standardized tests.

This petition is to eliminate the question of ethnicity from all applications and standardized tests. This question is only keeping the idea that somehow we are different just because of the color of our skin! MLK JR.'s dream was that all men be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. I say, that this ethnicity question simply allows the racist ideals of our country's past to linger on in today's society! They tell us it's simply for statistics, I ask why does it matter? If we are truly equal, then there should be no need for this statistic. No matter if you're black, white, or whatever in between, weather it is for a job application or to get into a college, your ethnic background should have nothing to do with that decision!
