The Federal Reserve is holding you and I for fools on a day to day basis. If you want to know the reason for our country's financial state look no further than the Federal Reserve and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Thomas Jefferson, one of the greatest of our forefathers, said, "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them, will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." In 1913 our government allowed this very thing to happen with the Federal Reserve act and I say it has been in place for far too long. Eliminate the Fed and once again establish a gold standard.
