Each year, the most profitable companies the Earth has ever known are handed billions of dollars in government subsidies; the American taxpayers should not be expected to foot this bill, especially since we purchase gasoline from the Big Oil companies anyway. Instead, these monies should be invested in green energy, which can create jobs here in America.
