It is time to give government employees a chance to share their knowledge of actual government operations. Government employees are best suited to identify strengths and weakness for genuine reform.
The Hatch Act of 1939, was officially “An Act to Prevent Pernicious Political Activities”
per•ni•cious, adjective \pər-ˈni-shəs\ “highly injurious or destructive: deadly”.
This is a statement by the Supreme Court in upholding the Hatch Act: “the immediate reason for the enactment of the Hatch Act was the fear that a large federal workforce unrestrained in its political activity could become a powerful, invincible, and perhaps corrupt political machine.”
Removing Campaign Finance limitations created massive groups with single goals. Government employees are nothing to be afraid of anymore.
