The HHS mandate is a divisive piece of legislation that directly forces governmental intrusion upon freedom of religion and personal choice. It has in effect been one of the major factors causing division in recent US healthcare policy.
Legal tradition of the US from its founding has numerous precedents where governmental authority is shown to be overridden where religious belief is concerned.
Hobby Lobby, Mardel, Domino’s Farms, Sharpe Holdings, Triune Health Group, Sioux Chief Manufacturing, the Little Sisters of the Poor etc...
The list goes on and on of legal battles against this unjust legislation and reflect the intrusion upon religious freedom and freedom of choice that this mandate entails. Eliminate the HHS mandate, it is not healthcare and we do not want it in our lives.
