Eliminate the holiday celebrated as Columbus Day and create an accurate holiday celebrating all Native American people

This petition is signed in favor of eliminating the Columbus Day holiday as a Federal holiday, on October 12th and join the many cities and states around America who have replaced Columbus Day with Indigenous People's Day or Native American Day.The people who "discovered" America were already here, when Columbus arrived and that is the truth that should be celebrated and understood. It is the right thing to do.
