Eliminate the income caps on the student loan interest deduction.

Created by B.T. on January 09, 2013

Student Loan debt is the problem of the future and in many ways will be a huge factor in limiting the economic success of this country. Students saddled with huge debts will not be able to spend to stimulate the economy, have families because the large burden or even purchase homes. Given the fact that student loan debt is the only debt in America that cannot be discharged, it is only fair that all interest be tax deductible. It makes no sense that you can deduct mortgage interest or interest on a dischargable debt but have restrictions on debt that can paralyze an individual for 30+ years. This needs to be corrected as it will be one help in the right direction towards easing repayment and eliminating defaults.
