In the Constitution of the United States, Section 8 it states that Congress shall have the power to coin money, to regulate it's value. Congress does not coin the money nor do they regulate the value, that is determined by the private bank, the Federal Reserve.
Congress should immediately create it's own debt free money, pay off the debt to the Federal Reserve, and then there would be no more interest owed on the debt.
There is a precedent for getting rid of a central bank, President Andrew Jackson accomplished it while he was President. The American people should no longer be slaves to a central bank that charges them interest on every dollar it prints.
