The American people need to know exactly what our politicians are voting FOR or AGAINST.
- Each legislation must have only one purpose.
- Line items to legislation must be directly related to the primary purpose of the legislation.

In most cases, legislation is submitted that has multiple purposes and many unrelated line items.
Line items that are unrelated to the primary purpose of legislation are really bribes to get some politicians to vote on legislation. By eliminating unrelated line items, the American people can better understand how their representatives are voting.
This should be a constitutional amendment.
Furthermore, the legislation needs to be written in a positive tense, so the average American can understand the legislation.
