Eliminate loop hole in section 504 allowing school districts to deny services to special need students.

Created by C.C. on January 14, 2013

School districts need to be held accountable for creating an unhealthy social and emotional environment for children with special needs. By allowing such a broad definition under section 504, school districts are denying much needed services to children in our schools. Without additional support and resources, thousands of children being diagnosed with asbergers, autism, add, SID, ADHD and many other syndromes are being ignored, bullied, pushed aside. Instead of focusing on a symptom (gun control) we should be putting put resources into giving these children the help that they need at an early age.
