Eliminate mandatory standardized testing in schools.

Created by B.D. on February 02, 2013

Standardized testing causes schools and teachers to only teach the content that is on the standardized test, and teach in a way that would make students succeed on the test and not neccessary at life. Standardized test scores determain what money in the school needs to be used for. The problem with these test is that some students are stressed about the length of these tests and do not try hard on them. If we eliminated the need for standardlized tests, students across the country would be able to learn more about topics that they will need in life and not just the topics that are on the test. Students are heavily tought about language arts and math, and not as much about science and social studies. Teachers would be able to make class enjoyable and students would be motivated to learn.
