The US government, to better serve it's citizens, needs to remove Monday from the week at all costs. Thousands of people are killed every Monday, but nothing is ever done about it.
Mondays also have a profound effect on the public sector. It is scientifically proven that Mondays are the most unproductive day of the week. That costs employers billions annually.
The Gregorian calendar is used worldwide. While the United States may eliminate one day of the week, other nations will not. This poses a dilemma when it comes to international trade, travel, and communication. The best way to combat this is to eliminate Monday AND replace it with Friday. Friday is the best day of the week, productivity is up, and everyone is generally happier. It is only logical to include it twice a week.
