The future state of America is at risk given the size of the Federal deficit. We are destroying the future of the country and the future leaders of America will never be able to dig the country out of the enormous debt we're in. The reality is the U.S. needs to identify new revenue streams and the wealthy have the ability to make a small dent towards, at least, balancing our budget. The Federal Government is looking to raise taxes for wealthy Americans. Let's start by eliminating mortgage interest deduction on vacation homes and all other qualifying property that only the wealthy can afford. If Americans can afford luxury items, they shouldn't gain tax benefits from those items.
