The penny and the nickle should be eliminated from our currency system as the penny costs us about 1.7 cents to make, and our nickle costs us nine cents to make. This is outrageous and the amount of taxpayers money spent subsidizing just the penny is around 70 million dollars. This money could be used for so many other, and may I say, better, uses.
