Obama's extension of the Reagan-era telephone program for impoverished U.S. citizens to include cellular phones must be eliminated as it is unnecessary and wasteful. The government cannot afford to freely give mobile phones to people nor can it legally offer such handouts under the guise of "providing for the general welfare."
