eliminate the outdated government Polygraph system, for certain government jobs.

Created by J.W. on March 14, 2014

Multiple agencies within the U.S Government including the FBI and State Department use a Polygraph Exam as a method to screen prospective employees Unfortunately as these departments and the US Judicial system are aware the Polygraph exam is an arcane and unreliable test This is evidenced by the fact that Polygraph results are not allowed to be used as evidence in any court within the United States. By eliminating the Polygraph exam agencies can increase the number of agents used in actual investigations rather then devoting agents to be polygraph examiners. Agencies could also hire based upon true merits or the background investigation rather than eliminating good candidates due to a futile test. Any remaining security concerns could be addressed in a more indepth background investigation
