Paper receipts from our stores are extremely wasteful uses for paper. Everyone throws them away, they are never recycled, and some have the consumer's card numbers printed on them which leads to identity theft. If we can charge our consumers ten cents a paper bag and ban plastic bags, we should continue to be environmentally friendly and do away with paper receipts.
