Lawmakers are wasting our tax paid time. Make laws that will carry bipartisan support. Your idea doesn't carry any support you lose your pay and all benefits. You can't afford to live you will be provided a the same barracks, food and health care provided to an enlisted member of the military. Once you pass a law deemed valued by your peers your pay should be reinstated and no back pay shall be provided. Most in the US must provide some value for their work and if you don't perform you lose your job and or pay. We the people must make our law makers responsible!
