Americans are punished for working in the USA. The same work can be done for 30% less by moving it ex-USA. As a result, jobs have migrated out of the USA. Effectively, companies are rewarded for moving jobs out of the USA. Instead of using the payroll taxes to fund government programs, a mechanism which fairly levels the tax across all participants in the USA economy needs to be adopted. Social Security tax, Medicare tax, FUTA, SUTA, etc are levied on USA employees and on companies paying USA employees. Income tax taxes honesty and working in the USA. Companies can avoid these by moving work out of the USA.
Replace payroll taxes with either more money printing and/or national sales tax so Chinese and other non-USA companies will bear their fair share for the services they enjoy.
