Eliminate Pennies from United States' Currency

Created by A.D. on May 17, 2013

The United States Mint has been created its one-cent piece, penny, since 1793. However, since that year, the penny has aged and become a valueless, useless, and worthless investment for the United States. The penny itself, costs more than twice its worth to be manufactured by the U.S Mint. Think of it like this, for every penny we create we pay 2.41 cents, 1.41 cents more than the pennies worth. Knowing then that the U.S Mint creates 13 billion pennies each year, the United States is paying $31.33 billion dollars on this coin! This means $18.33 billion good dollars are annually being wasted on the atrocious catastrophe! It is not even worth the hassle. Nobody likes pennies anyways, they can not even do their job, which is to facilitate change they are such a minuscule amount. Thank You.
