The penny is losing value every year. If we keep it, the penny will lose its value in under twenty years anyway. There is no reason to keep it. It is a nuisance and a waste of time to dig around in a purse or pocket to make exact change. We can make finacial transactions easier if we just round the price up to intervals of 5 instead of missing a few pennies to pay something.
