We love Lincoln, but it's time to kill the penny. It's inefficient to produce, as it costs 1.8 cents to manufacture a 1 cent coin. It's purchasing power practically doesn't exist anymore, because counting and transporting them is a waste of time and machines don't take them. Why not just round everything up or down to the nearest 5 cent landmark? Other countries have eliminated the penny, and they've prospered without it. Get rid of the penny!
