eliminate political parties and cap campaign spending.

Created by J.A. on December 13, 2012

In the late 1700's our esteemed founding father, George Washington, published a Farewell Address to our nation. In it, he specifically and explicitly denounced the establishment of political parties in our political system. He forewarned that political parties would lead to the following: Revenge natural to party disenssion; despotism; destroyed public liberty; distracted public councils; enfeebled public administration; ill founded jealousies and false alarms; animosity between parties; riot and insurrection; opened doors to foreign influence and corruption.

I call for the end of all political parties in our political system. Let individuals run on their merits, policy proposals and demonstrated leadership. We must also cap campain spending.
