Eliminate Political Parties - they create an unneeded divide in the country

One of the reasons why the government isn't effectively and efficiently working is due to not a single person, party, social class, etc. It's because there are political parties. Political parties from left to right divide the nation, and a nation as great as ours shouldn't be run by opposing sides. Our political system should be people working together for a common goal and compromise. Neither side is right from any angle on nearly all issues. By having political parties it is disabling the government from doing the work they are paid to do for the American people because they are more focused on what's best for their political party rather than what's best for the country.
