Eliminate political party rule, allow citizens to vote directly on key issues bypassing congress 'representation'

We as citizens are no longer represented in Congress, regardless of how we vote. It's 'party first' then America. We the people need to stop this. I propose that when it comes to key issues, it goes to a vote of the people and by the people and not by the party that is trying to stay in power. There are too many compromises in how we run this country and our representatives in office do not represent all of the people in their districts. The only way to remedy that is to actually give everyone a vote on key issues and bypass all this nonsense and bickering once and for all. We need America to be a good place for our children to live, regardless of creed,color, religion, sex or political interests. We the people need to be the people of this great nation that make a difference
