We have a problem in our inner cities and it isn't getting any better. Obviously what ever investments we're making to isn't getting the job done. We need to do is start employee owned businesses within those depressed inner city areas, and the first bid on those jobs would be the jobless residents of that area. With the initial investment to build or acquire a business all profits (except 10%) would be equally distributed to all the workers. Great pay, great benefits and as a group they make decisions that would benefit them and their company. The other 10% of profits would be used to continue to buy or build more employee owned businesses in areas where they are needed. No more million plus salaries for CEO's while the rest suffer trying to get by. The problem? Greed!
