To eliminate pre-existing Alzheimer's or dementia from preventing you from purchasing long term care insurance.

Created by T.A. on November 19, 2013

Nationally many families are left to make attempts at covering the cost of care of a loved one suffering from Alzheimer's or dementia. The yearly cost of care can range as high as $75,000 when complete care is needed. This financial burden destroys families financial stability as they try to pull funds from where ever they can to cover the bill. There is long term care insurance out there that would allow people suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia to receive the care they need with out depleting their retirement savings or their family members income. However at this time if you have a pre-existing Alzheimer's or dementia diagnosis you can not obtain long term care insurance. This causes people to not get the care they need or deserve it also starts that financial pit fall.
