Eliminate the preferential treatment commissioned officers receive under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Created by D.N. on December 05, 2012

Several Commissioned Officers have recently made headlines for their misdeeds. Many of those Officers have been judged by their peers in Court-Martials and received sentences that were almost laughable. Repaying the amount that one has stolen and being forced to retire with no further consequences is not a punishment. Enlisted personnel who do similar things receive monetary punishments, reductions in rank, jail-time and often are unable to receive retirement benefits. The enormous gap between enlisted and officer pay should mean the officers are held to higher standards, they should not receive a get out of jail free card when they take their oath.
