Health insurance providers that are profit driven make their decisions based on how much money the company can make, not what is best for the insured. This system is responsible for the outrageous health care costs in this country and needs to be eliminated. No company should make money off of peoples illnesses and treatment and they certainly shouldn't be allowed to make decisions that affect an individuals life based on how much they can make off of the situation.
