Eliminate the protections of Double Jeopardy in controversial cases where new incriminating evidence is presented.

Created by M.M. on November 23, 2012

First of all, thank you for signing this petition.
The purpose of this petition is to remove the lawful/constitutional protection of Double Jeopardy in criminal and civil court cases.

Listed below are numerous whereas lines that provide the justification for amending the constitution.

Whereas in the judicial system, many court cases are controversial in nature and and a verdict can be made with mixed feelings of the Jury,

Whereas many motions for most Judgement Notwithstanding Verdict would have changed the final decision of a controversial case,

Whereas in many criminal cases the defendant can be become innocent or guilty after the sentencing when new evidence is discovered,

Whereas those deemed innocent would be considered guilty if this new evidence would be introduced,
