Eliminate the requirement for prescription drug manufacturers to state all the possible side effects during commercials

Created by G.W. on December 06, 2015

I’m so tired of all the television ads for prescription medications and to make matters worse they are required to inform us that it may cause nausea, insomnia, diarrhea and or possibly death, to name a few. And it never fails at dinner time there’s the erectile dysfunction medications that warn us to go to the hospital if you have an erection lasting more than four hours. The list is so long does anyone really listen anyway? The commercial should simply state "Speak to your doctor or pharmacist for any possible side effects” or “Speak to your doctor as this medication may have possible life-threatening side effects”, after all your doctor prescribed the medication! Other countries don't do it, why do we?
