Public urination is a ridiculous crime. People end up in jail, on sex-offender lists, and charged with huge fines for it. Urine is sterile. Animals urinate outside. Why can't humans? If you're hidden in an alley or behind something it should not be a big deal. A $10 fine with a slap on the wrist? Sure. Becoming a registered sex offender for something that EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE WORLD DOES? Nope nope nope. This petition originates from the #1 party school in the country. If you're out drinking with your friends and need to take a leak, you should be able to step away and do it instead of having to hold it in and run around looking for the one shop open late that has a public restroom. People can develop kidney problems from holding their urine.
